CE International Welcomes New Regional Director for the Middle East

CE International is pleased to announce that Samia Kazi has joined our volunteer Country Lead Network (formerly known as the Country Liaison Network), serving as Regional Director of the Middle East.

Samia Kazi is a social entrepreneur, innovator, and partnership builder. She worked as a CEO of a leading ECE organization in the Middle East, called Arabian Child, supporting quality improvement, child protection, and early childhood education. The Huffington Post named her one of the top women who are reshaping early childhood education in the Middle East. Her research areas focused on the importance of collaborative work and early childhood systems. As a successful leader and entrepreneur, her organization trained over 7,000 teachers and managed the most significant early childhood professional community in the Middle East region. She also served as a consultant to government agencies in the United Arab Emirates, working on developing policy, research projects, and leading regional conferences. Samia developed innovative partnerships with both public and private organizations, such as the CDA Council, Erikson, Council for Awards in Health, Care, and Education (CACHE), Training and Qualifications (TQUK), Laser Learning UK, Scotland Police College, and many more.

She holds a master’s and a doctoral degree in early childhood leadership with a focus on early childhood systems and quality assurance, a certificate from Harvard University on education policy reform and child protection and safeguarding. She is also a certified professional development specialist from the Council of Professional Recognition, USA.

Samia is married and is a proud mother of four children.
